Latino Medical Student Association
This scholarship was established to support 4th year medical students paying for their residency applications. The winner will be presented with a Certificate of Achievement, along with a scholarship in the amount of $500 during the LMSA-NE Regional Conference, which will take place from January 27-29, 2023 in Baltimore.
Eligibility:
Only active 4th year Northeast LMSA members that are currently enrolled in an accredited medical school are eligible to apply. Applicants must attend the LMSA-NE Regional Conference to receive the award. If you are unable to attend the conference, you must contact the LMSA-NE Fundraising Chair at least one week before the conference with the name of the proxy representative from your affiliated chapter. Previous winners are ineligible to apply.
Applicants are required to submit a 800-word personal statement. Students are encouraged to submit their personal statement from their residency applications if completed.
